The 18th-ranked Tar Heels weren’t able to measure up in a 77-65 loss to No. 10 Indiana in a marquee ACC-Big Ten Challenge matchup at Assembly Hall. North Carolina and Alabama are supposed to be two of the better teams in the country this year in men’s college basketball. Four overtime games are supposed to be thrilling. Neither of those things felt like they were true on Sunday night when the Tar Heels and the Crimson Tide played an error-filled four OT game at the Phil Knight Invitational, better known as the PK 85.

North Carolina vs. Indiana: The No. 10 Indiana Hoosiers took care of business in a hard-fought physical game with No. 18 North Carolina, 77-65. It was the Heels’ third straight loss. Trayce Jackson-Davis led the way for the Hoosiers with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Indiana outscored Carolina 50-24 in the paint and held UNC to 34% shooting for the game. Pete Nance led North Carolina with 15 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
