The North Carolina Tar Heels will host Gardner Webb for their third game of the season. Armando Bacot and Caleb Love are both coming off of 25+ point performances against College of Charleston. Leaky Black is doing things not just on the defensive end, but becoming a threat offensively. Isaac Schade is looking for a blow up game for the Tar Heels.

Additionally, Coach Hubert Davis provided an update on Puff Johnson’s expected injury timeline and when we can expect to see him on the court in action. He also updated Jalen Washington’s status. Both these young men are integral to Carolina’s success.

No. 15 North Carolina edges Wake Forest on the road, 36-34, in ACC action during Week 11 of the 2022 college football season. Tar Heels quarterback Drake Maye threw for 448 YDS & 3 TDs while running in another score. Wide receiver Josh Downs made 11 REC for 154 YDS & 3 TDs for UNC.

No.12 North Carolina comfortably rolled TCU at home after a back and forth first quarter, 75-48. 5 Tar Heels reached double figures, led by Kennedy Todd-Williams’ 14 on 5-10 shooting and Alyssa Ustby’s 14 points of her own on 6-10 shooting. Deja Kelly had a strong game with 12 points to go with 6 boards and 7 assists. Destiny Adams had a strong presence in the paint throughout, picking up 10 points, 7 rebounds, and swatting away a shot. Overall, Carolina’s defense held TCU to just 25% shooting.
