It’s commitment day for class of 2023 TJ Power from Shrewsbury, MA. Power is a four-star power forward who stands 6-8 and weighs in at 210. Power is down to a final five of North Carolina, Duke, Virginia, Iowa, and close-to-home Boston College. All the latest movement is pointing towards Power committing to Duke, but given the glut of similar position players already committed to the Blue Devils in the class of 2023, it’s an interesting decision. We’ll wait to see what actually happens when Power announces his commitment at 5:00pm ET on Wednesday.

Everyone focuses on Caleb Love, but according to the EOCBB guys, it’s RJ Davis who hold the key for the Tar Heels Success.

North Carolina is still looking to fill the void left behind by GG Jackson’s decommittment. So far, they’ve only offered two additional players in the class of 2023, PFs TJ Power and Zayden High. Outside of that, Simeon Wilcher remains the lone recruit in the class of 2023. We’ve already discussed TJ Power on the show, and now we turn our attention to Zayden High. High just scheduled an official visit to Chapel Hill for September 30.

Over the past 13 weeks, we’ve looked at each of the 13 scholarship players on UNC’s 2022-23 men’s basketball roster: the four freshmen (Will Shaver, Jalen Washington, Tyler Nickel, Seth Trimble), the sophomores (Dontrez Styles, D’Marco Dunn), the juniors (RJ Davis, Caleb Love, Puff Johnson), the seniors (Armando Bacot, Justin McKoy), the super senior (Leaky Black), and the transfer super senior (Pete Nance).
