Virginia Tech vs. North Carolina: The 5th-seeded Hokies are moving on to the semifinals of the 2022 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament after defeating 4th-seeded UNC in overtime, 87-80. Aisha Sheppard and Georgia Amoore each scored 22 points and combined to dish out 8 assists for VT. Alyssa Ustby and Deja Kelly each scored 18 points to lead the Tar Heels.

Brady Manek scored 22 points, Caleb Love hit three clutch 3-pointers and North Carolina defeated Syracuse 88-79 in overtime on Monday night.

North Carolina’s win came despite a season-high 36 points from Cole Swider of Syracuse. He made 14 of 21 shots, including 7 of 11 from 3-point distance, before fouling out late in overtime.

Syracuse couldn’t close out North Carolina in the final moments on the road. The guys discuss Joe Girard’s struggles and not having depth at PG coming back to bite SU tonight. Plus, it was another bad inbounds execution for the Orange at the end of the game. Also, Cole Swider lit up the Tar Heels in a career night, but was frustrated that Syracuse couldn’t pull out the win.
