Western Carolina vs. Wake Forest: The Wake Forest Demon Deacons handled their business with a 87-75 home win over Western Carolina on Friday. Alondes Williams and Daivien Williamson made the most noise for the Deacs. Williams finished with a game-high 32 points on 13-of-18 shooting with 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Williamson recorded 24 points on 8-of-10 shooting in the win. The Demon Deacons shot 52% from the floor and forced 19 Catamount turnovers in the win.

Brown vs. North Carolina:The No. 19 North Carolina Tar Heels pulled away to win a hard-fought game against Brown, 94-87. R.J. Davis had a career-high 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting, and hit some huge 3-point shots late in the game to lead the Heels to the win. Armando Bacot was a big presence inside for Carolina, finishing the game nearly perfect from the floor at 10-of-11 for 22 points to go along with 10 rebounds in the win. The Tar Heels shot 52% from the floor in the win, including 9-of-21 from 3-point range.

The North Carolina Tar Heels prevailed over Brown, 94-87 to improve to 2-0. R.J. Davis led the Tar Heels with 26 points and 6 assists. Armando Bacot had a 22 point 10 rebound double-double, Brady Manek added 14 points and Caleb Love pitched in 13 points and 5 assists.

In a game that went to overtime, the Pitt Panthers downed the North Carolina Tar Heels, 30-23. Pitt improves to 8-2 on the season with the win. Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett threw for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win. For the Tar Heels, quarterback Sam Howell threw for 296 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 28 yards and a touchdown.

North Carolina vs. Pitt: The No.21 Pitt Panthers survived a scare from the North Carolina Tar Heels in overtime, 30-23. Pittsburgh’s M.J. Devonshire’s overtime interception on 4th-down sealed UNC’s fate. The quarterbacks lived up to the hype in this matchup. Pitt’s Kenny Pickett passed for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns. North Carolina’s Sam Howell amassed 324 total yards, and was responsible for 3 scores.
