Virginia vs. North Carolina: The Virginia Cavaliers got a huge road win in dramatic fashion as Tomas Woldetensae nailed a three-pointer with .08 seconds left to give the Cavaliers the 64-62 win. Woldetensae led the Cavs in scoring with 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting from three-point range. It was a back-and-forth game throughout and Garrison Brooks led all scorers with 20 points in the loss. Cole Anthony scored 17 points despite having to leave the game after suffering a cut to his head after taking an elbow to the head in the second half. The win marks the first time that
Virginia has won back-to-back games in Chapel Hill.

Syracuse vs. UNC: The Syracuse Orange got a great road win at North Carolina on Thursday, 74-56. Kiara Lewis and Digna Strautmane both scored 17 points to lead the team. Emily Engstler put together another solid game with 16 points and 15 rebounds in the win. The Cuse defense was spectacular, holding UNC to just 29% shooting from the field and blocking 10 shots. The Syracuse bench played well, outscoring the Carolina bench 18-4 as the team collected its third straight win.
