California vs. North Carolina: Michael Carter rushed for 94 yards and 2 scores, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a 4-touchdown performance from Cal QB Roos Bowers as North Carolina fell to California, 35-30. Chazz Surratt totaled 227 yards with a passing and rushing touchdown.

Ross Bowers passes for 363 yards and four touchdowns in his first collegiate start and Cal overcomes a three-point, fourth-quarter deficit to beat North Carolina, 35-30, in Chapel Hill on Saturday. Cal outscored the Tar Heels 14-6 in the final quarter, giving first-year head coach Justin Wilcox his first win as a Golden Bear.
