Anti-Racim Rally at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Silent Sam Protest

On October 25, 2015, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
students, staff and Triangle Area of North Carolina community
members organized a counter-protest to a Confederate rally
by Alamance County Taking Back Alamance County and
Orange County Taking Back Orange County. Confederate rally’s aim
was to protect a symbol of the Confederacy, The Silent Sam statue,
located on the UNC-CH campus, and oppose “Muslim”
refugees’ future arrival in North Carolina.

These video clips document interviews and scenes from
the counter-protest.
