Hundreds of students pursuing advanced degrees at UNC-Chapel Hill have the hood of the Commencement regalia conferred by their advisers or dissertation committee chairs. Dr. Richard Lenski, Carolina alumnus and biologist who whose long-term experiment has tracked evolution for more than 65,000 generations of E. coli bacteria,
will deliver the ceremony’s keynote address.
