North Carolina At Chapel Hill

The Carolina careers of nearly 4,400 first-year students and 785 transfer students officially began Aug. 20 at the annual New Student Convocation at Carmichael Arena. Featuring University leaders and a keynote address from Jacob Sharp, a member of the band Mipso and 2013 Carolina alumnus, the event was the new Tar Heels’ grand welcome to UNC-Chapel Hill.
