I remember working at a hotel where relatives of the UNC players were staying.They were rude snobby shitballs who thought their precious High Heels were gonna win.LOL.After this a lot of our North Carolina guests looked like their world was ending and I loved every second of it.Hit the road jack…

I was never a Billy Packer fan when he was calling games for CBS and that infamous "This game is over" with 7:32 go in the first half when Kansas was up big on North Carolina although the Tar Heels managed to come back and got within 6 middle of the 2nd half but Packer deserved to be let go after that Kansas-Memphis title game because he's said stuff on the air before that was very controversial like his racist remarks about Allen Iverson or his feud with Phil Martelli or about Duke University. I am so glad that guy is no longer with CBS.

I remember watching this game back in 08 and saying to Carolina fans that Kansas is going to win this kansas were more deeper at guard they were for deeper in the power forward and Center positions and North Carolina relied on Main one scorer and it was Tyler Hansbrough. Also Kansas was a much better defensive team than North Carolina especially contesting passes Steals etc

This game was more about how UNC didn't show up. Not saying Kansas wasn't better but you have to be stupid to believe Kansas was that much better than unc. I honestly think if they had played again UNC would have won
thankfully, this game was the end of billy packer – and good riddance
And had KU not Stopped playing from the beginning of the 2nd half to mid point of the 2nd half, this could have been much worse.
