Georgia Tech vs. North Carolina: For the first time since 2010, Georgia Tech has won a game at North Carolina. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Tar Heels 96-83. Georgia Tech got off to a hot start, leading 19-2 in the first 10mins of the game. North Carolina did not score a field goal until there was 6:50 left in the first half, and the 20 point halftime deficit was the Tar Heels largest in the history of the Dean Smith Center. For Georgia Tech Jose Alvarado scored 25 points, had 8 assists, and 6 steals. Mosses Wright scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets. Garrison Brooks led the Tar Heels in points, scoring a career-high 35 and grabbing 11 rebounds.
