Duke vs North Carolina: Duke freshman Wendell Moore Jr. put back a Tre Jones miss as time expired in overtime to win the game for the Blue Devils, 98-96 over North Carolina. UNC led by 13 with 4:31 left in regulation, but the Blue Devils ended regulation on a 20-7 run capped by a buzzer-beater by Tre Jones as the half ended. Jones scored 28 points, including 15 straight points for Duke between late in the second half and overtime. Cassius Stanley scored 22 points and Vernon Carey Jr had 18 points before both fouled out of the game. For the Tar Heels, Cole Anthony had 24 points and 11 rebounds.

As a Diehard Tar Heel fan of 30 years I knew we were going to lose when we were up at half. The heels have choked in the second half against Duke more times than A man with arthritis in his neck. That being said they gave it a good shot. Hell if they brought the same intensity and focus to every game for the rest of the year they could potentially win out. I hope they do or at least come close to it to save some type of face on the season bc sure have shit the bed this year. Injuries or not you are expected to win when you become a tar heel. Anything less than is unacceptable.
