There was like 5 fouls in the last minute
Roy WIlliams was massively outcoached down the stretch today. Duke never panicked or forced any 3's. They just kept having Jones drive to the basket and UNC played zero defense and never contested any of Jones's layups. The defense was brutal and Coach K's plan to keep driving was the difference. And UNC's pathetic free throws kept the game alive too. Platek was an all-time choker at the line. Barely hit the rim on a few of them.
The UNC defense in the final 2 minutes of regulation and the final minute of OT was absolutely atrocious. No other way to put it.
Add to that the horrifying free throw shooting, and UNC was able to find a way to lose.
UNC had the game won TWICE
I'm a Duke fan and I turned the game off at about 1:12 because I thought Carolina had it won.
Just goes to show how mentally weak the tarheels are and this is coming from a UNC fan!!!!!!!

Duke vs UNC 101 gms played. Duke is up in the rivalry now 51>50. Total points were exact same too BUT Duke leads that category 1,810>1,808 pts. No other "rivalry" is even close.
Tre Jones was beast tonight and Duke and North Carolina is the greatest rivalry in all of sports

I don’t have the slightest bias one way or the other between these two, but that game made me kinda sick. Duke was so lucky that it literally made me feel a little nauseous.
I can’t stand seeing a team celebrate that didn’t deserve to win. It’s the way they acted, that pompous “yep, that’s how we drew it up…” horseshit. Reminded me of Auburn just getting every cheap bounce, lucky break, and bad call while being outplayed.
As a Duke fan, I’m glad Duke won. However I feel like Duke could’ve played better overall. I don’t think Duke and Carolina are good enough to win the NCAA tournament.
