North Carolina made 22 of 31 free throws in the game, doubling up NC State who made 11 of 13 from the charity stripe. Garrison Brooks had a game-high 30 points for the Tar Heels while also grabbing 9 rebounds. Cole Anthony had 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and Christian Keeling came off the bench to score 16 points. For NC State, they were led by Markell Johnson who had 21 points and 10 assists.
