Wake Forest vs. North Carolina: The Tar Heels won their third consecutive game by defeating the Demon Deacons 93-83 in Chapel Hill. North Carolina was red hot shooting the ball in the second half, making 64.3% of their shot attempts. Freshman Cole Anthony dropped 28 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds to lead UNC. Also for the Tar Heels, Garrison Brooks scored 25 points and Brandon Robinson scored 18 points. Brandon Childress was the leading scorer for Wake Forest with 24 points.

With no injuries this team would still be ranked but this ain’t a perfect world we live in. The injuries exposed are bench and we couldn’t recover from that. It put them in a position they weren’t ready for and it destroyed their confidence. This team when it clicks can put up a fight against anybody but when it’s not they can’t beat a D3 team. That separates decent/average teams from good/great teams
