North Carolina At Chapel Hill

The North Carolina Tar Heels got the season started with a 79-60 win over the College3 of Charleston Cougars. Freshmen Caleb Love and R.J. Davis started at the guard positions for the Tar Heels, scoring 17 and 11 respectively. Fellow freshman Day’Ron Sharpe added 13 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Senior forward Garrison Brooks had 11 rebounds to lead the Tar Heels to a 49-34 rebounding advantage in the victory.
