#14 UNC faced off versus #17 Texas longhorns in the finals at the Maui Invitational. Matt Coleman proved he was the best player on the floor and was able to lead Texas to a statement victory over the Tar Heels! With a strong supporting cast of guys like Greg Brown, Kai Jones, and Courtney Ramey, Texas should make a ton of noise nationally this year. UNC should be able to bounce back with their young core of RJ Davis and Caleb Love in the backcourt.

The heels were just sloppy with the turnovers and not making their free throws and that one stretch of them just letting Texas make consecutive 3’s in a row. Texas is good but to me they got lucky only beating us by 2.
