NC Central vs. North Carolina: The No. 16 North Carolina Tar Heels won a tough game at home against the NC Central Eagles, 73-67. The Heels had to make up for a slow start, but led by two at halftime and held off the Eagles in the second half for the win. Armando Bacot led the Heels with 19 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor and added 11 rebounds in the win. Day’Ron Sharpe and Caleb Love each made timely plays for UNC and both finished the game with 12 points.
