The NC State Wolfpack defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels for the first time in 3 years, winning a tight game, 79-76. Devon Daniels led the way for the Wolfpack, scoring 21 points, hauling in 5 rebounds and adding 3 assists. Freshman, Shakeel Moore, scored 17 points, including shooting 3-4 from 3-point territory. Manny Bates scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for NC State in the win. For UNC, Armando Bacot scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Freshmen RJ Davis and Caleb Love each scored 11 points for the Tar Heels.

Even the best teams have to go through "rebuilding ". It's obvious with this Heels team They are going to get better. So don't get too carried away Heel haters. As the great Dean Smith once said "Beat us while you can."
