The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defended their home court and defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels, 72-67. Jose Alvarado and Michael Devoe each scored 20 points in the victory. Alvarado added 7 assists and 7 rebounds in the game. Armando Bacot led the Tar Heels with 14 points.

Tarheels can't guard nobody. A bunch of overrated AAU guys. Brooks is a big disappointment to say the least. No fans at the game and you hear no one talking on defense. There is no leaders on the team everybody is soft as vanilla ice cream. Gonna be a long season with covid. When tarheel can't beat Georgia Tech it really gonna be long. Roy has to leave the blue chippers alone and get players that bring there lunch pail every night.
