The North Carolina Tar Heels topped the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 66-65, in a tight ACC Men’s Basketball matchup. Leaky Black hit the game-winning shot with 9 seconds remaining for the Tar Heels. Freshman Day’Ron Sharpe scored 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the win. Freshman Kerwin Walton scored 12 points, and Armando Bacot led the Heels with 10 rebounds. Nate Laszewski was red-hot from 3-point land for the Irish, shooting 7-11 from three, and finished with 25 points and 9 rebounds.
