The North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 78-73, in Chapel Hill in ACC Women’s Basketball play. Stephanie Watts led the Tar Heels with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists, just one shy of the triple-double. Dara Mabrey led Notre Dame with 23 points in defeat.
