The North Carolina Tar Heels lost to the Marquette Golden Eagles, 83-70, in a Men’s Basketball game added to the Tar Heels’ schedule just 4 games prior to taking place. Garrison Brooks scored 18 points and pulled in 5 rebounds, and Day’ron Sharpe grabbed 11 rebounds to go along with his 9 points in the loss. Marquette’s Dawson Garcia was the game’s high scorer with 24 points.

What a awesome display by the Heels. The same bat time the same bat channel of turnovers and point blank bunnies. You know you in trouble when Platek is shooting. They need to check Brook's hands to see if he is all thumbs. Leaky Black doing his best impression of the invisible Man. I seen him in Jr. High and all he has done is grown taller. It looked like men against boys on the court and sometimes circus. I know why at the beginning of the games just don't give the team 12 points because the first 6 they will give it to them anyway. Bacot is about consistent as frozen water. Him and Brooks should be playing lights out with Sharpe. Roy thought he would come in and get a L an it backfired on him big time. Maybe the next time he will pick up one of the local JV team and play them. The Heels got a tough road ahead but they are capable of doing it. They have to bring it every night thou. Go Heels!
