College basketball’s blue bloods are fighting to make the NCAA Tournament this season
As the regular season comes to a close and we get ready for the much anticipated NCAA Tournament, there are a number of teams that we may not see. College basketball’s blue bloods, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UNC and Michigan State, have all been having rough seasons. Jay Bilas explains why this year is different.

how was Kansas included in this video?
All this does prove to me is how good of a coach Bill Self is. Able to do more with lower rated players. Lower rated compared to Duke and Kentucky anyway.
Some one please explain to me how Michigan state is considered a Blue blood program when clearly u of m had as much success if not more , all I’m saying if you buy state on that list you can’t leave Michigan off of it. Go Blue

Kentucky shouldn't even make the NIT, they have had a horrible year. Duke's is out unless they win the ACC tournament. Kansas and UNC are in, Mich St barely gets in.

North Carolina will be fine. Dukes recruiting class and Kentucky’s is horrible next season.
If this was any other team besides duke they would be out. Period. They are the Norte dame of basketball.

Looks like the BlueBloods better focus on 4 yr players whose families prioritize the BA/BS. With the new league paying 100K, NCAA will need to make exceptions or struggle with diluted secondary talent.
