It will be someone from the North Carolina family. Either Hubert Davis or Wes Miller (HC UNC Greensboro). Miller was a player on Williams' first national championship team in 2005 and they are very close. Miller is young (38?), knows how to recruit and his UNCG teams are at the top of the Southern Conference nearly every year. His UNCG team also plays "Carolina" style basketball, so he would fit in well with the type of player that Williams has been recruiting.

Something else to consider with Mark Few. He and Roy Williams are real good friends. He would at least take the call, I think. Something else to think about is that UNC typically stay in "the Carolina family" when considering head coaches for the basketball program. That would give Davis an advantage. A name you didn't add that will be given a lot of consideration is Wes Miller. Former player, young, and has some good head coaching experience. Brad Stevens would be a homerun.
