Indiana fan, and sports-wise i hated Coach Williams, snd thats is a compliment. Today i feel a great respect, love, and want to wish him and his wife the very best in life. God bless you coach, many of kids are so much better off having learned basketball and life from you. You were one of the best to do it, thank you for your class and integrity.

Sad. Thanks for the memories, Coach! Best wishes going forward! My initial reaction = I hope this is an April Fool's joke. Was hoping Coach Williams would stick around and chase records. I disagree with Coach that he is no longer the right man for the job, but, at the age of 70, I don't blame him at all for retiring. I remember his first team as Head Coach at Kansas, surprisingly coming out like gangbusters in their season opener. Glad for him that he is able to leave on his own terms. Go Tar Heels!

That's a BUNCHA BUNK! I stood behind him as a coach…and then he started in on my president Trump…and Roy was wrong on that; they DID spy on him. All the comments are turned off on the Carolina channels. Why? I'm gonna guess it's because Roy 'Low Key' blamed his players…..again. Maybe it's true, but I don't see Coach K throwing his team under the bus like that..on his way out. I wouldn't have even mentioned their short-comings. We won under him and I think he did a great job; I defended him every time someone talked about his deficiencies. It was a good run and I hope we get another good one. Bring back Phil Ford.
