Would Stevens consider returning to the college basketball ranks to coach at a prestigious program like North Carolina? In Stevens’ 6 years as the head coach of Butler he went 166-49 and appeared in back to back final fours in 2010-11. Earlier in the season Stevens shot down the idea of returning to the college game when the Indiana head coaching job opened up even though he grew up in Indiana. Stevens said, “I’m not a kid anymore. I’m a 44-year-old Masshole. I swerve around others when I’m driving, I eat Dunkin Donuts and I root for the Patriots.”
Kelly Olynyk has been exchanging text messages with Brian Scalabrine who insists that Olynyk should demand a buyout from the Rockets. If Kelly is bought out by Houston should Danny Ainge and the Celtics to make an Olynyk Reunion in Boston happen? Olynyk is averaging 18.3 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 3.3 APG, 62.5 FG%.
