I think Hubert Davis
Dean Smith went to Kansas – think folks need to cool it on the “stay in the family” jazz. As a UNCG alum, and currently in grad school at UNC, I’d love to see Wes Miller get a chance. But I would be calling Mark Few after his NCAA run first, and maybe a couple guys like Brad Stevenson, Billy Donovan, and Tony Bennet first. Hubert Davis isn’t a very sexy name to me. And no head coaching experience. (I’m not counting the JV team…) if you “stay in the family” then take a flyer on Wes Miller and hope he can survivor the rebuild, which make no mistake, the program is going to have to rebuild. Top recruits won’t be coming to play for either Miller or davis right off the bat.
Phil Jackson will be the next NC Coach.
