North Carolina At Chapel Hill

Virginia vs. North Carolina: UNC was able to outscore UVA in a 59-39 victory in Chapel Hill. North Carolina had 699 yards of total offense and Virginia had 574 yards.  Sam Howell became just the 4th quarterback in the history of the ACC to run for over 100 yards and throw at least four touchdown passes.  Howell finished the game with 307 passing yards and five passing touchdowns, to go along with his 112 rushing yards.  Running back Ty Chander ran for 198 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  UNC wide receiver Josh Downs caught 8 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns.  Quarterback Brennan Armstrong set a new Virginia school record with 554 passing yards and passed for four touchdowns.  UVA wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks caught seven passes for 183 yards and a touchdown.
