North Carolina vs. Georgia Tech Condensed Game | 2021-22 ACC Men’s Basketball

The North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 79-62 in their conference opener. R.J. Davis scored 23 points, dished out 5 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds in the win. UNC big man Armando Bacot added a 15 point, 13 rebound double-double and Brady Manek delivered 15 points off the bench for the Tar Heels. Khalid Moore, Michael Devoe and Dallan Coleman each scored 13 points for the Yellow Jackets.

Carolina this year has the potential to be very good when the guards lock in defensively. UNC this year is currently top 5 in NCAA 3pt percentage. A major contrast from their traditional numbers. Big time difference in defensive effort between halves in this game and it showed. Harris and Leaky clamped down the nation's leading scorer, holding him to just a little over half of his per game average for the year. Job well done.
