The Duke Blue Devils allowed Coach K to relax on his last trip to Chapel Hill as Head Coach, defeating the North Carolina Tar Heels, 87-67. Duke shot 57.6% from the floor as a team, with AJ Griffin leading the way with 27 points on 11 of 17 shooting. Paolo Banchero added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Wendell Moore Jr. scored 13 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and had 5 assists. Brady Manek led the Tar Heels with 21 points and 6 rebounds. UNC shot just 40.7% from the floor in the loss.

UNC – get ready to become a mediocre program under Hubert Davis. Barely shows any emotion (except when he’s up 20 with a few mins left against NC State). Refuses to hold his players accountable for terrible play. I get that this is his first year, but UNC has standards and thus far he and his team aren’t meeting them. Nepotism doesn’t work, give him a little more time but start looking for a qualified coach without ties to the program. It won’t hurt us to accept a new member into the Carolina family.
Coach Williams left the cupboards bare. There's not a plyer on the team worth a starting position for UNC.

I was very impressed with Manek's game, even in a losing effort. He just looks like after the game he has to charge his Prius because he ha a big presentation on Power Point after he gets the kids to school.
I you can focus on is the stupid announcer talk about anything but the game. They obviously wanted UNC to win and if they did or even made it a game they would have been more interested and not screw up the game for us Duke fans. This was ridiculous

Good by Duke tonight. They look like a team that is capable of being the last man standing. The Heels were just out everything tonight. Duke look like a NBA team. Tarheel will still make the tournament but it will be short lived. Bacot doesn't play up to the competition. Good thing Manek and Leaky showed up. No more to say about Love and Davis that hasn't been said. Davis has to pull these guys an start playing the freshman. Hopefully the Heels will finish strong this year. The Heels Haven't beaten a ranked team all year. Hubert just looks completely overwhelmed but that team down the street is really good. Ranchero, Griffith,and Williams are pros.
