The North Carolina Tar Heels opened their game against Florida State with an amazing 18-0 run on their way to a record-breaking first half. UNC made 7-of-10 shots, with 3 three-pointers and a three-point play while FSU missed nine shots in a row to open the game. The Heels built a 62-24 lead at the half, the largest halftime lead Carolina has ever had in ACC games. Hubert Davis’ club shot 74.2% from the floor in the first half, including 9-of-12 from three-point range.
