The Duke Blue Devils defeated Syracuse, 97-72 in what may likely be Coach K’s last matchup with Coach Boeheim. Mark Williams delivered with a 28 point | 12 rebound double-double for the Blue Devils. Paolo Banchero added 21 points and 9 assists, and A.J. Griffin scored 20 for Duke in the win. Buddy Boeheim led the Orange with 23 points and Joseph Girard III added 18.
