The Virginia Tech Hokies defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels, 87-80 in overtime to move into the semifinals of the ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament. Georgia Amoore and Aisha Sheppard each scored 22 points for the Hokies, with Amoore adding 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Kayana Traylor added 19 points for Virginia Tech. Deja Kelly and Alyssa Ustby each scored 18 points for North Carolina, with Ustby grabbing 7 rebounds and Kelly dishing out 6 assists.
