The North Carolina Tar Heels defeated Virginia, 63-43 to advance to the semifinals of the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament. Brady Manek scored 21 and grabbed 7 rebounds for the Tar Heels in the win. Armando Bacot scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double, and Caleb Love scored 10 and dished out 5 assists for UNC. Jayden Gardner led the Cavaliers with 17 points in the defeat.

Exactly the type of game we needed. This team is starting to make a believer out of me. Rebounding hard and playing solid defense. That's exactly what got us to the title in 2016 and won it in 2017. This team will be dangerous in the tourney.
