Virginia vs. North Carolina: The Tar Heels dominated Virginia, 63-43, to advance to the semifinals of the 2022 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament. Virginia’s 13 first half points were an ACC Men’s Tournament record for the fewest points in the shot clock era. Brady Manek outscored UVA by himself in the first half, scoring 19 of his 21 total points in the opening half. Armando Bacot set a North Carolina record, collecting his 24th double-double of the season as he went for 10 points and 11 rebounds against UVA. For the Cavaliers, Jaylen Gardner was the only UVA player to score in double-figures with 17 points.
