The Heels were not as efficient in the first half. They could have easily led by 10 at the break if their game plan had been a little different. They were allowing UCLA to score 1 on 1 matchups AT WILL. . Caleb became the hero but in the first half he was 1 for 8.

Not a huge, all in sports fan, but I have watched the heels since a kid. My dad graduated in 58 from Chapil Hill. I absolutely love Coach Davis. He brings and demands toughness. Heels have had great coaches, but this is different.

Love went nut making contested 3 after contested 3 . The ucla d was right on him he just got in that unconscious focused zone where he saw nothing but net. Well played game by both squads . The final margin larger for the slight underdog heels. The credit goes to the men actually in the arena but they gave us all a show and we have to deal with highs and lows of elation and defeat that are traps for the unwary because we are never as good as our best game or as bad as our worst. Just be in the moment whatever it is.

Very close game, UCLA was in front the majority of the time.. Caleb Love stepped up, if Jaquez didn't mis three pointers and made more fieldgoals, UCLA would have won it.
