Acc mens hoops has been the best 18 to 22 yo players in the world consistently for a long long time. The heart of the League is the triangle yes but love when schools have their run and step up ala fsu under Hamilton, Maryland was awesome under Gary Williams, Cremins at tech when I was young, I could go on and one but as a life long unc fan and a Carolina family etc we watch duke second most cuz we want to see em lose. But the league is best when there are five ranked or more. When I was in middle school and hs, wake was with tim Duncan, Maryland had Joe smith and unc had sheer. That’s two number one picks and sheed who had more talent than both. That’s six league games right there nobody was missing those guys playing each other? Get outta here it was the shit. Jr borough was at Virginia and they were top 15. Again I could go on and on but when the league is top heavy with more then unc and duke things get special.
The talent has been there all year. Just takes time to come together!
Smartest man in da world UNC or Duke gone do it
73-66 was final score.
I am a UNC grad (went to school with Jordan) and the landscape has clearly changed. What was once a game anchored on 3 and 4 year developed players is now a game of who can develop the most chemistry at the right time with whomever you can get through the transfer portal to compliment your core group. UNC was not great for the majority of the season, and now the chemistry has emerged thanks to very good coaching and the time it takes to suffer enough pain that allows a team to learn and grow together and be great. A leader understands that in the desert of creation, the path to success is preceded by the vision of the cooling waters to come. Hubert Davis held up that vision even when his team had not yet embraced it and when the results were not always seen by others in their defeats. They may not win the championship this year, but they have learned what it takes to be winners. That is the goal of any coach and that is the allure of playing for North Carolina where you are learning as much about how to be successful in life as you are about basketball. I am very proud of them, whether they win another game or not, because they now posses something more important than just how to be good basketball players.
UNC will roll over ST Peters and beat Duke
ACC teams are built for March madness . Any team that has a better than 50 percent win percentage is a threat.
3 ACC TEAMS IN THE ELITE 8 HATERS ..
I thought I was crazy myself and I’m still awake
They paid the refs off. That’s how they won.
