Seth, if you think Duke is better this year and will beat UNC that is perfectly reasonable; however, to argue the bar is higher at Duke is quite a joke. Since Coach K has been there, both schools have the same number of championships, while UNC has MORE Final 4 appearances. Also, Carolina has won more tournament games while K has been there (Duke often loses early in the years they don't make it to the Final 4). Again, perfectly reasonable to favor Duke in this matchup, but Carolina has been the slightly superior program even during Coach K's era. And if it wasn't for Matt Doherty, he'd be slightly under 500 vs. Carolina instead of slightly above.
It's a setup for Duke to win it all has been since the start of the season sucks but that's the way it is
The team is with COACH K who always comes back stronger.
It will depend on how tight the refs call this game. Duke has a deeper bench so if they game is called tight, Duke will win. If the refs let them play, Carolina wins. That is the bottom line.
