The Kansas Jayhawks are National Champions after defeating the North Carolina Tar Heels last night 72-69. Kansas overcame a 15-point deficit at halftime, the largest in national championship history, to capture its first title since 2008. Meanwhile, North Carolina ran out of gas in the second half as they couldn’t keep momentum rolling from their huge win over Duke in the Final Four. I graduated from KU in 1969. In the time since I have had to suffer through too many losses that shouldn't have been! Maybe Bill IS too soft. I guess that means Roy was also. Maybe that's the psychosis that's plagued the Jayhawks. But I also know this. At every game they played in this year's Big Dance, their score was more than their opponent at the final buzzer! There is a long line of schools still waiting to have ONE national championship, let along FOUR!!!!!!!! ROCK CHALK!!!
