Bacot was rated 5* coming in, and he's making a big contribution, but that kid from SC…GG Jackson…is on a different level. He hasn't said where he's going yet, but UNC is considered to be the favorite.

Bacot would have been gone if he was likely to go in the top 20? Not so. Anyone aware of his story and love for UNC knows he would be returning regardless. He said during the season that no amount of money could pry him away from the school until he was able to contribute to a national championship banner hanging from the rafters of the Dean Dome. If UNC could have held off Kansas, maybe he would have made the jump to the NBA this year. But, without the natty, the local media said it was a forgone conclusion he was returning for his senior year. Besides, some claim he's set to earn seven figures this year via NIL.
