Caleb Love was called by many the X-Factor for success for the UNC Tar Heels during the 2021-22 season. Love had the ball in his hands more than any other Tar Heel according to usage rates and ranked 2nd in UNC in scoring with 15.7 points per game. He also was 10th in the ACC in assists with 3.7 per contest. Caleb Love was a huge part of North Carolina’s late-season success, hitting clutch shots repeatedly and making big plays for the Tar Heels that led to big wins.
