North Carolina is still looking to fill the void left behind by GG Jackson’s decommittment. So far, they’ve only offered two additional players in the class of 2023, PFs TJ Power and Zayden High. Outside of that, Simeon Wilcher remains the lone recruit in the class of 2023. We’ve already discussed TJ Power on the show, and now we turn our attention to Zayden High. High just scheduled an official visit to Chapel Hill for September 30.
SI’s Jason Jordan says that High and Power would complement each other well and both fit on the roster. In fact, he suggests they would form a vicious pick-and-pop tandem as Power has great court vision and ball handling skills. According to Jordan, High has a great stroke from outside and would fit well in a Hubert Davis system; going so far as to suggest he has some Brady Manek-like skills.

I’m not sure Jalen Washington will be able to stay on the court so I wish they could get both Zayden High and TJ Power: “High-Power.”
It's fine if we don't get him because honestly Hubert has shown he's great in the portal. We're gonna have a lot of roster spots open and if Mando doesn't 5th year we're gonna need to recruit several bigs from the portal.
It would've been nice to ask him if he's heard any positives on TJ Power. I asked David Sisk on Twitter the other day and he replied he had heard a little towards Virginia, but said it was far from a done deal and UNC still had some time basically. It would be awesome to get both these guys. Also doesn't Washington, Nickle, Styles, and Puff play the same position, and would that affect Power's decision to come to UNC?
