To me, easily biggest question mark is whether they can keep the same motivation/drive going that they had during the tournament. It's a lot easier to be prepared to give it everything in the tank if you're constantly hearing that you're not a very good team and have no chance at doing anything big.
There's also the "well we did it in 2017" thing, assuming that because the Kris Jenkins shot led to the redemption championship a year later, the same thing is bound to happen again this year, and that's a dangerous mindset. That team was laser-focused on the championship from the locker room post-Villanova, but winning championships takes a bit of luck, too.
Very interested to see what becomes of this team. Manek was the energy guy, the glue guy. We’ll see if someone else steps up to fill that role.
