UNC's 2022-23 ACC Schedule Release! | W-L Predictions | Jalen Washington health update

The ACC released the 2022-23 conference basketball schedules earlier this week, so we finally know the full schedule for this season’s Tar Heels, who are trying to make their way back to the National Championship game led by returners Caleb Love, RJ Davis, Leaky Black, and Armando Bacot.

The 20-game ACC slate kicks off in early December with back-to-back games at Virginia Tech and hosting Georgia Tech, before the main chunk of the ACC schedule will commence on New Year’s weekend with a trip to Pittsburgh.

UNC’s likely hardest slate is the five-game closing stretch: at NC State, at Notre Dame, vs. Virginia, at FSU, vs. Duke.

Here’s the full ACC schedule

12/4 | Sun | @ VT
12/10 | Sat | vs. GT
12/30 or 12/31 | Fri or Sat | @ Pitt
1/4 | Wed | vs. Wake
1/7 | Sat | vs. ND
1/10 | Tue | @ UVA

Carolina also got the great news that Jalen Washington will be cleared for all basketball activities at the end of September. This is great news for Hubert Davis, and particularly so for the frontcourt.

Jake Schwartz says:

My unbiased opinion is that we have the best front court (esp with Jalen), the 2nd best backcourt, and the best defender in the country. Along with that we should have great depth this year. It's obviously extremely unlikely but we could go undefeated this year. The fact that we can put Leaky on any 1-3/(smaller 4s) and have them score under 7 points means that the other team's 4 other starters have to score more than Rj, Caleb, Mando, and Pete. I just don't see how should ever happen unless we have a terrible shooting night. Even if we do shoot bad though we should be the best rebounding team in the country if Leaky can rebound to his potential.
