Puff Johnson has finally been able to spend the offseason working on improving his body and game without any limitations. He enters the 2022-23 campaign, no longer as an unknown, but as a key contributor with proven in-game success on the biggest stage.
Though transfer Pete Nance is expected to start at the four spot alongside senior Armando Bacot, Johnson is in line for an increased role as a wing/forward hybrid capable of guarding multiple positions and scoring from anywhere on the court. Here is Inside Carolina’s season preview of Puff Johnson.
