North Carolina At Chapel Hill

This video is from the 2021-2022 UNC Tar Heel Basketball Season. UNC competed in the NCAA tournament and finished as the Runner-Up in a miraculous 8-seed tournament run. Head Coach Hubert Davis had an incredible first season as the Tar Heels head coach finishing 2nd in the ACC and 29-10 overall and 15-5 in the ACC. Unfortunately, the heels fell to Virginia Tech in the Semi-Finals of the ACC tournament. However, the Heels did make the NCAA tournament as an 8 seed. After beating Marquette, an overtime win over Baylor, UCLA, Saint Peters, and DOOK. The Heels found themselves competing for their 7th banner but ultimately came up short after blowing a 16-point lead over Kansas.

The Tar Heels will open up the 2022-2023 NCAA basketball season as the obvious #1 ranked team in the country with the return of rising stars Caleb Love, R.J. Davis, Armando Bacot, and Leaky Black. With the loss of Brady Manek, the Tar Heels will have to fill the stretch-four position. The addition of transfer Pete Nance from Northwestern will hopefully fill the void. Puff Johnson and Dontrez Styles will hopefully be more developed and can take on bigger roles on the squad. Incoming freshmen Seth Trimble, Will Shaver, and Tyler Nickel should get a chance to prove themselves early in the year.

Can the Tar Heels win the 2022-2023 NCAA National Championship?

I believe we’ll see the Heels in Houston this year.
