North Carolina Basketball held on for a gritty win to kick off the college basketball season. Armando Bacot, RJ Davis, and Caleb Love led the way offensively, while UNC won courtesy of their defense, including the team’s best individual player Leaky Black and freshman guard Seth Trimble.
Some things played out as expected, including team free throw shooting and solid defense, while some things were a surprise, such as being outrebounded or a lack of assists. Host Isaac Schade and Pac Kilby ask the question of how concerned we should be about certain aspects on a 1-10 scale.

Not concerned. They’ll figure it out and win the championship. The coaches will make the necessary changes and Love-Davis-Bacot will prove too much for any team to handle at tournament time.
Nance will do what he needs to do to help this team win the natty. We’re good.
I'm concerned, not gonna lie. Concerning that Nance and Bacot are clogging up the lane for RJ and Love, concerned that Caleb is still turning the ball over, concerned that they struggled to be effective against a team they should've blown out given their experience. I did like the defense, but I take that with a grain of salt as they weren't playing against any top talent. Anyone acting like this didn't bother them is lying.
Not very good but it's just one game
No concerns they had to get the first game jitters out. They’ll be fine. Just cut down on the turnovers.
We learned that Carolina is overrated big time
