North Carolina’s game Tuesday night is against their worst (on paper) opponent of the season, The Citadel. Armando Bacot, Caleb Love, RJ Davis, Leaky Black, Pete Nance, and the rest of the team, however, need to come out and dominate the basketball game to show that Saturday’s result vs. Georgia Tech wasn’t just a one-off, but in fact, what this UNC team is capable of doing.
While you don’t learn much from playing a sub-200 KenPom team, the Tar Heels can certainly work on plays, different lineups, etc. Additionally, the game is prime for getting Jalen Washington good minutes, along with other key rotation pieces like Puff Johnson, Seth Trimble, and Tyler Nickel. This should also be a good spot to empty the bench a big in the closing minutes. The last time these two teams played, Hubert Davis was the Tar Heels’ leading scorer.
In unfortunate sports news, we woke up Monday morning to learn that Texas head basketball coach Chris Beard had been arrested for alleged assault. While we don’t know the outcome and while the issue concerns another school, it’s a wise conversation to have as host Isaac Schade unpacks his thoughts. When life happens, sport takes a back seat.

Just because we should beat Citadel doesn't mean that the guys should sleepwalk through this game. They need to remain focused and get a convincing win. If they do, I'm interested to see if Coach Davis will attempt to give the bench some more opportunities. Jalen Washington would be the big one I'd want to get more experience so he can get more comfortable.
I'm wondering if your camera focus is a bit off. I have it set to 1080, but you're still not crisp. You sound great, but the visuals aren't as clear as I remember them being in the past. Just wanted to provide that feedback. PS: Go Heels!
